amigatnc.lha Short: Packet radio modem driver (TNC emulator) Author: Alexander Feigl Uploader: prgate@schwaben.de (Roman Martin) Version: 1.3 Type: comm/misc Requires: KS 2.0 c-bbs720q.lzh The C-BBS packet BBS V7.20q. It can handle multiple serial ports but only one user can be logged in on each port at any one time. It can handle a phone line and do forwarding on the phone line provided that it is talking to another C-BBS system. It will handle FBB-style forwarding as well as the normal RLI type and can also import and export message files in a manner compatible with FBB. The bug which would hang the BBS if there was a disconnect during an FBB compressed forward has been fixed. c-doc720q.lzh Documentation files for C-BBS. c-src720q.lzh Source code for C-BBS. Uses Manx 5.20a compiler cblog.lha CQ WW Contest Logger for amiga that equals CT for IBM - VE5CB 7pl204am.lzh The 7plus encode/decode program for sending binary or text files through a packet network. The file "7plus" in the archive is the amiga executable. All the other files are part of the original distribution. 7plus can be used with C-BBS. cqww-401.lzh Version V4.01 of the CQWW only. Fixes some bugs in the reporting. logger-405.lzh This is a set of contest logging programs for the Amiga. Some of them (such as the IARU) need more work on their screen output. There's no way these programs can be compared to something like CT! I am not a serious contester and the look and feel of these programs shows it. They are mainly useful for single-op not-too-serious efforts. There are drivers to allow connection to ICOM radios and some YAESU and KENWOOD radios. There's also a program to allow connection to a packet cluster and this program will send packet spots to the logging program's screen. The programs will generate scoring sheets but only in printable ASCII form. I do not know how to generate a CT-format file that can be sent on disk. As with everything else in these directories, these programs are AS-IS and USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. The best thing to do is to start using a particular program at least two weeks before a contest and give it a good workout so that you know how it works long before the contest starts. Version 4.04 contains a fix for a serious bug in the backup function (of all places for a bug!). Version 4.05 contains a fix for a bug in the timezone calculation. It was not correctly figuring out the end of DST. profipac.lha ProfiPacket V0.24 Type: comm/misc Kurz: Packet Radio Programm fuer Hostmode TNC Requires: AmigaOS 2.04, 1,5 MB memory, MUI 3.8 Short: Packet Radio terminal program Version: 0.24 Uploader: prgate@schwaben.de (Roman Martin) Author: Alexander Feigl vhlogger-V2.lzh A QSO logging program by Vince Herriod KA8CTE. 110lpwd.zip Contains my mods to JNOS 110l to include a numeric password for remote sysop. There's also a program to create a random password. These mods still allow you to use the old password scheme but this one is considerably more secure. Instead of using a string of letters, the password is a set of integers between 1 and 255 and the reply to a challenge is the sum of the corresponding integers in the table rather than the corresponding letters. The first integer in the table is the "zeroeth" one. The password size has been increased to hold up to 60 integers. I have also included a mod to version.c which allows you to specify the value of the string LOCAL_VERSION which will be added to "110l" when it is printed by JNOS. If you fiddle with JNOS very much it is useful to be able to keep track of the different versions you create. Note that the WHOFOR string is also defined and should be changed to suit your tastes.
